Sergio Leone's 4 hour epic. Yep, 4 hours. All of it was pretty entertaining though and while I question one or two scenes being used, I was pretty entertained and found it quite compelling.
To be honest, I didn't really like this as much as I thought I would've. Not Martin Scorsese's best work of course but it could've been a lot better. I dunno, it just didn't really work for me. This movie makes gambling so cool though, haha.
Fantastic. Loved this film. I'm really starting to get familiar with Martin Scorsese's filming style and sense of direction. Anyways, if you want a straight up mob movie, this is it.
A lot of people will say this was just as good or even better than the first. I found that both films were pretty equal and couldn't distinguish which was the better one.
People bash this film for not being as good as the first two. Kinda true, but I still liked it. To me, The Godfather was never really about the mafia but more about family. It's basically a family drama set against a violent backdrop. A good end to the trilogy.
Okay, this movie wasn't a part of my original list but it was something I've wanted to watch for a while. Big fan of Denzel Washington. He owned the screen in this movie. Great movie and Denzel is just really fun to watch in this film.
Didn't like the pacing of the film. At times I sorta had to ask myself, "Where is this going?". The ending was pretty horrible too in my opinion. Al Pacino is good though and so is Sean Penn. I dunno, this movie was half and half for me. :S
